In this project, we were approached by a startup called "WriteIt" to develop a brand identity that reflected their commitment to be a force in the social media space.
The client's goal was to create a brand identity that would resonate with social media users and help position their business as a leader in their niche. Objectives included designing the story focused application look more modern and vibrant. Additionally we were tasked to make a new landing page which captures attention and lastly to increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
Our approach was to create a brand identity that communicated WriteIt's values of authenticity whilst also enabling them to capture their audience through modern design. We developed a brand strategy that focused on creating a unique and memorable visual identity that would differentiate the brand from its competitors.
One key lesson learned from this project was the importance of aligning brand identity with business values and goals. The fact that WriteIt is a text dominated platform challenged the question of how can we bring a vibrant feel to the platform? One of the ways we succeeded with this was by implementing colourful Avatars, and Anonymous Icons..
We also learned the importance of developing brand guidelines to ensure consistent application of the visual identity across all touchpoints.
